On my radar: issue 134
Hi There!
Did you miss me?? Don’t worry, my bank account has informed me that I will not be taking another vacation until further notice. Two weeks traipsing around Europe is exactly what the doctor ordered, and I am feeling refreshed and ready to take on the second half of summer. I have spent the past week diving into everything that happened while I was away and boiled it down to the best very that you need to know. Keep scrolling to see what caught my eye!
What’s On My Radar:
Reformation has entered the lace short chat. I love the more relaxed fit of this pair and might need to snag the black pair for myself. While lace shorts are undoubtedly the short trend of summer, I can’t help but think about how chic they would look back to a slouchy sweater and ballet flats for early fall.
I have somehow resisted the anklet trend so far, but I think I need to snag this delicate pearl piece that is currently on sale. It is the perfect example of a “low effort/high impact” item that instantly makes your outfit look more styled.
Another low effort/high impact item that I really really want. For some reason I am often intimidated by bracelets and struggle to style them, but this one feels like a no-brainer.
There is clearly a jewelry theme going on this week, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that one of my favorite bag brands just released some stunning necklaces.
While I took a “bigger and bolder” approach to the brooch trend, I also love this as a way to dip your toes in. Pin a brooch on anything, and it instantly gives your outfit that cool factor.
This trending color has been a bit polarizing, but I really love it in this easy silhouette. The knit fabrication helps to dull some of the saturation and make it feel more approachable.
How chic would this dress be with a silk scarf tied around the waist??
Suitcase Superheroes - aka pieces I reached for over and over
